Welcome 2021 Update

Hi All

 Happy New Year - wishing you all a very healthy and prosperous 2021.

Obviously we are going to be under varying levels of restrictions for the vast majority of the year so we’ll just have to see how the year evolves but having a share in a racehorse is unfortunately going to continue to be a frustrating experience. It’s going to be tough to visit the race course as well as the trainers especially in the early part of 2021 but rest assured, when we can all get together we have a few ideas to make sure we celebrate in style.

2021 looks to be really exciting for Surrey Racing, with two horses having won their last race, and 3 to make their debuts. Gran Luna will be the first to run this year and if she’s better for her wind op then surely we have a great chance of having our first ever Cheltenham Festival runner? Surrey Quest will hopefully be our first ever NH runner in Ireland, Surrey Pride must be fancied to win a Heritage Handicap and possibly be a Royal Ascot runner, wouldn’t that be good to combine the two! Surrey Mist and Surrey Knight (shares available) look early two year olds, we’ll know more about them come February/March time, Surrey Princess has a lot to prove after a poor debut but she’s bred to succeed, and finally another very well bred horse, Surrey Gold, personally I think will get black type over 1m 6f come year end.
