Blaze dazzles in the sunshine

In the sweltering heat (30 degrees at Leicester (we still had our ties on!) and in front of a massive crowd, it felt like a mini Royal Ascot.

Blaze, who Joe had looking superb, ran the perfect race, under a good patient ride from the apprentice Finley Marsh to win fairly comfortably at a decent price.

Blaze came out of the race great, he really does love the firm fast ground and so the plan is to have him out again at Doncaster’s evening meeting on the 19th July.
