The pedigree speaks for itself, the sire, Palace Pier, rated the best son of the mighty Kingman, was an outstanding miler who won 5 Group 1s. Palace Pier beat Pinatubo in the G1 St James Palace and ran Baaeed to a neck conceding weight in the QE II on Champions Day.  

The dam, Highgarden, a granddaughter of the legendary Galileo, won a Group 3 over 12 furlongs and was rated 104. Surrey King is her third offspring.

Surrey King is a strapping colt who will almost certainly start at 7 furlongs as a 2-year-old. However, he will get better with age and as he strengthens, is likely to develop into an extremely exciting middle-distance prospect
