World Cup Fever
We’re happy that Gran Luna was sold to a good home in Ireland where she will begin her new career as a Broodmare. We have sold out of Surrey Fire and Surrey Force but shares remain in Surrey Fortune. Football Fever has taken over from the racing today! Come on England!
Open Day Update
The rain just about held off for our owners day at Langshot Stud, where we saw the horses we have shares available, Surrey Fire, Surrey Force, Surrey Fortune, plus temporary resident Surrey Charm. Champagne and Bacon sarnies the order of the morning!
November 20th Update
Surrey Quest ran very well today to finish 3rd on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter. Hopefully we’ll have one more run before the year is out. Next Sunday is our open day at Langshot Stud in Chobham, get in touch for details.

Surrey Mist was withdrawn from the HIT sale and will stay in training for Group races in 2023. We welcome two new horses to Surrey Racing, Surrey Fire and Surrey Force - read on for more details.

Welcome to October
It’s October already the year is flying past. We’ve had a quiet summer but now the rain is here we are ready to hit the track again with Surrey Mist running this week … good luck to connections !
End of Q3 update
As we come to the end of the year’s third quarter we still have flat racing to enjoy plus the return of the NH racing scene. We are hoping for a few Autumnal winners in Q4 !
Mid September
The owners enjoyed a really enjoyable visit to Toby Lawes Open Day as part of National Racehorse Week. A quiet week ahead starting with a subdued day of mourning tomorrow. Our thoughts and condolences with everyone whose heart was touched by Her Majesty The Queen.
RIP QE II 1926-2022
A strange and sad week where racing takes a back seat and we mourning the passing of the only monarch most of us have ever known - and welcome a new King. The show goes on …
September’s 1st Update
Injuries are part and parcel of sport but we are certainly having our fair share at Surrey Racing. We are hoping September and the final months of the year bring some better luck, some rain, and some wins!
End of August update
As we approach the end of August we’ve had plenty of reminders that horse racing is full of ups and downs as we’ve had to move horses, had injuries that in some cases have meant we’ve had to retire horses. Whatever we do at Surrey Racing, the welfare of our horses is paramount. Roll on a lucky September ..
24th August Update
Surrey Noir is looking superb and nearing his debut as we wish Gran Luna and Surrey Gold well after retiring them with injury after 20 runs which they stacked up 8 wins.

Celebrations like in the picture after Surrey Gold won at York are priceless moments so when it’s been a sad week to have to retire two of our best horses in Gran Luna and Surrey Gold because of injury. We will make sure they have a very happy life after racing.
August 7th Update
All of the horses are well - some like Surrey Knight are recovering and in rehab but a quiet month on the racetrack as we look ahead to the yearling sales and the softer Autumn ground …
